School Services
We support students and families with a wide range of services that make school days smoother, healthier, and more enriching—from free meals and aftercare to counseling, transportation, and family resources. Most services are free, with a few select offerings where fees may apply.
Before & After School Care
Our extended day options help working families manage their schedules with confidence.
- Free before care starting at 6:30am (employment verification required)
- Free after care available until 5:30pm (employment verification required)
- Off-site care provided by My First Steps Childcare, with drop-off and pickup (fees may apply)
Counseling
Students have access to school-based counseling and emotional support services through HWS Best Health Program.
Family Resources
We connect families with practical resources to help support students at home and school.
- MKV Pantry with uniforms, toiletries, laundry access, and more for families experiencing homelessness
- Coats for Kids program provides winter coats for students in need
Food Services
Nutritious meals are delivered daily, with free breakfast and lunch available to all enrolled students.
- After-school meals provided through a partnership with the Cleveland Food Bank
Health & Dental
On-site health services help keep students thriving and ready to learn.
- Vision screening through PSI
- Mobile Dentist visits twice per year (insurance accepted or fees may apply)
Tutoring, Saturday School & Summer Programs
We offer targeted academic support to help every student stay on track and soar—during the school year and beyond.
- Free summer camps, including basketball, cheer, and Kinder Camp
Transportation
Safe, reliable yellow bus transportation is available through CMSD for students in grades K–8 who live within 1–3 miles of campus. Learn more on our Transportation page.
